Mit diesen Worten warb Dr. Amy Gutmann, die Botschafterin der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, k\u00fcrzlich auf der Reisemesse ITB in Berlin um Reisende. In diesem Jahr sollen es im Vergleich zum Vorjahr 20 % mehr werden. 2022 reisten 1,5 Millionen Deutsche in die Staaten, Ziel bis 2024 ist, das Vor-Corona-Niveau von rund 2 Millionen zu erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl zuletzt im Gespr\u00e4ch war, die <strong>Impfpflicht<\/strong>, deren Nachweis bei Einreise in die USA noch immer verlangt wird, im April aufzuheben, ist das bis dato noch nicht geschehen. Auf Veto des Pr\u00e4sidenten wurde eine Abschaffung dieser Bestimmung auf unbestimmte Zeit vertagt. Abgesehen von seiner Geschichte, ist Alcatraz Island zugleich eine&nbsp; bedeutende Brutkolonie f\u00fcr Seev\u00f6gel: M\u00f6wen und Kormorane, Reiher, Austernfischer u.a. Vogelarten sind hier zu sehen. Die meisten V\u00f6gel nisten auf den steilen Klippen, andere in Str\u00e4uchern. Um die V\u00f6gel w\u00e4hrend der Brutzeit nicht zu st\u00f6ren, werden Teile der Insel von Februar bis September f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit gesperrt. Da in den letzten Jahren die Besucherzahlen im Park ins Unermessliche stiegen (\u00fcber 1,8 Mio. pro Jahr), die Stra\u00dfen und Parkpl\u00e4tze \u00fcberf\u00fcllt, die Natur bedroht und die Infrastruktur \u00fcberfordert war, wurde ein Reservierungssystem eingef\u00fchrt. Alle Besucher ben\u00f6tigen in genanntem Zeitraum au\u00dfer dem Park Pass bzw. der bezahlten Eintrittsgeb\u00fchr zus\u00e4tzlich ein \u201e<strong>Timed Entry Ticket<\/strong>\u201c, das es f\u00fcr $ 2 und f\u00fcr Zeitslots zwischen 7 und 16 Uhr t\u00e4glich gibt. Vor 7 Uhr oder nach 16 Uhr kann der Park auch ohne Ticket befahren werden, ebenso f\u00fcr Besucher, die auf einem der Campingpl\u00e4tze im Park \u00fcbernachten.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets werden auf &#8220;first-come, first-served&#8221;-Basis auf <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recreation.gov\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">www.recreation.gov<\/a> <strong>drei Monate im Voraus<\/strong> an einem bestimmten Tag en bloc abgegeben, z.B. also am 1. Jh. gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils von Mexikanern erbaut und bewohnt und galt als Arbeiterviertel. 1969 wurde ein Teil abgerissen, doch nun soll zumindest der Rest zum \u201eNational Historic Landmark\u201c erhoben werden. Dazu geh\u00f6rt&nbsp; ein Schrein in Erinnerung an einen wegen Ehebruchs erschlagenen jungen Farmhelfers. Aus diesem \u201eUnfall\u201c hatte sich eine Legende entwickelt und es entstand ein \u201eWunschschrein\u201c mit Kerzen, Opfergaben, Fotos und Zetteln.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend dieser Schrein seit 1971 gesch\u00fctzt ist, soll nun das gesamte Barrio Viejo im Sommer 2023 unter Schutz gestellt werden. Im Stadtteil ist au\u00dfer der Architektur und den netten Lokalen und Caf\u00e9s auch das&nbsp;<strong>Teatro Carmen<\/strong> von 1915 als eines der ersten spanisch-sprachigen Theater in den USA. Es wird gerade renoviert und soll als Theater und Konzerthalle 2024\/25 wiederer\u00f6ffnen. Ebenfalls Tradition hat seit 1982 die <strong>Tucson International Mariachi Conference<\/strong>, jeweils an f\u00fcnf Tagen Ende April. Er selbst wurde durch Performances, Wandbilder und Videoclips, aber auch durch Ausstellungen bekannt. 1966 als Thierry Guetta bei Paris geboren, lebt er seit seinem 15. Lebensjahr in Los Angeles. Den Durchbruch schaffte er 2010 mit dem f\u00fcr den Oskar nominierten Dokumentarfilm \u201eExit Through the Gift Shop\u201c \u2013 in dem er seinen Freund und Street-Art Legende <a href=\"http:\/\/www.banksy.co.uk\/in.html\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">Banksy<\/a> bei der Arbeit beobachtete.<\/p>\n<p>In einer Weiterf\u00fchrung der Pop Art greift Mr. Brainwash in seinem Werk auch Stil und Motive von K\u00fcnstlern wie Andy Warhol auf. Guetta kommt das Verdienst zu, die Urban Art von der Stra\u00dfe ins Wohnzimmer geholt zu haben. Grelle Farben, teils kontroverse Inhalte und verschiedenste Techniken wie Druckgrafik, Mixed Media mit Spr\u00fchlack, Schablonen u.a. Malerei und Collagetechnik zeichnen seine Arbeiten aus. Er vertritt&nbsp; den Standpunkt, dass Kunst nicht allzu ernst sein und vor allem Spa\u00df machen sollte. Dies erreicht der K\u00fcnstler mit grellen Farben, witzigen Wortspielen und positiven Botschaften.<\/p>\n<p>2022 er\u00f6ffnete sein erstes Museum, in Beverly Hills, oder genauer, im ehemaligen Paley Center for Media, einem architektonisch wegweisenden Bau von Richard Meier.
